Unchained relies on its team of hundreds of volunteers across the U.S. who fill these crucial roles (NOTE: See the separate application for pro bono therapists and lawyers):
- Survivors who mentor and provide emotional support to clients through the traumatic process of leaving arranged/forced marriages
- Career Counselors who help clients achieve financial independence
- Financial Coaches who teach clients how to manage their own finances
- Volunteers who help host fundraisers for Unchained
- Interpreters and translators who help clients that speak languages other than English
- Resource experts who help Unchained navigate client resources in their communities
- Forced and child marriage survivors who want to share their personal story publicly
- Other volunteers who provide myriad other services (please specify the service or type of service you want to provide).

Working with Unchained has been an extremely rewarding experience. As these women develop the skills needed to effectively manage their finances, many for the first time, they gain independence and come to learn that they indeed have agency. The most rewarding aspect is when they "graduate," fully able to manage their money as they see fit, not beholden to anyone else. I am grateful to Unchained for giving me the opportunity to assist these women, helping them emerge stronger and more confident to handle life’s inevitable challenges.
