Please note that Unchained is inundated with media requests for access to survivors of forced and child marriage – but Unchained remains fiercely loyal to the survivors who are part of the Unchained family and does not grant all such requests.
Unchained refuses to introduce survivors to journalists or media outlets who show a lack of understanding of the trauma survivors have endured and/or do not treat survivors with respect and compassion. Additionally, Unchained typically does not introduce survivors to journalists or media outlets based outside the United States.
Under no circumstance does Unchained grant media access to survivors who are under age 18 or who might be exposed to danger by talking publicly.
