Do you need help leaving or resisting an arranged/forced marriage, or do you know someone who does? Submit the form below or call (908) 481-HOPE.

You are eligible for services if:

  • You are currently being or already have been pressured, bribed, tricked, threatened or otherwise coerced to marry (whether your marriage hasn’t happened yet, happened recently or happened long ago); and
  • You are in or from the U.S. or you are in or facing an arranged/forced marriage to someone in the U.S. — even if you are currently overseas.

If you meet the above criteria, you can get services regardless of your:

  • Gender identity;
  • Sexual orientation;
  • Religion, community or culture;
  • Immigration status; or
  • Income status (though some income guidelines apply to the Legal Services Program).

Unchained team members respond as soon as possible to requests for assistance during regular business hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET.
