Calling all civil society organizations, forced/child marriage survivors and state legislators: Sen. Dick Durbin has introduced a bill that purports to “combat child marriage in the U.S.” but in fact would contradict, undermine and obstruct the U.S. and global promise to end child marriage by year 2030 — and our hard work to keep that promise. Please sign on to the memo below by Friday, September 20, to urge Sen. Durbin to amend the bill, because girls around the world deserve better.
