The Kentucky senate UNANIMOUSLY approved the bill to ban child marriage this week — the latest victory in our push to make the marriage age 18, no exceptions, in all 50 U.S. states.
The bill now needs to move through the house of representatives before it can head to the governor’s desk.
If you live in Kentucky, take a minute now to email your legislators and urge them to act quickly to make Kentucky the 17th U.S. state to ban a human rights abuse that destroys girls’ lives.
Wherever you live, you can track our progress here and cheer us on. And you can take action here.
