Does banning a human rights abuse – one that overwhelmingly harms girls – take away a girl’s “right” to be abused?
That is what some progressive groups in Colorado want us to believe, as our founder/executive director Fraidy Reiss and Chelsea Clinton point out in a feisty Denver Post op-ed article they just co-authored.
Shockingly, these groups OPPOSE legislation to ban child marriage, apparently due to utter cluelessness about this human rights abuse that destroys girls’ lives, as Fraidy and Chelsea explain in the op-ed.
