The Star-Ledger published this opinion piece, written by Unchained At Last founder/executive director Fraidy Reiss, on the front page of the April 15, 2012, Perspective section. The Star-Ledger ran the opinion piece alongside a personal story from an Unchained director (see below), a breakout box about Unchained and a photo of Reiss that ran with the headline, “Breaking the chains: Shackled by an arranged marriage and religious customs, a New Jersey woman finds her freedom and tries to help others, too.”
