Adrienne Montes

adrienne montesAdrienne is currently the Director, Intellectual Property Counsel at Kendra Scott. Previously, she was an associate at Gabay & Bowler where she provided clients with an effective and progressive approach to the development and promotion of their businesses, including advising clients on branding strategies and the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights. She also litigates commercial actions in state and federal courts. Adrienne is the Chair of the Fashion Law Committee within the New York City Bar Association and a member of its IP Council.

Upon meeting with Fraidy Reiss, the Founder/Executive Director of Unchained At Last, hearing her compelling story and learning of the work that had been done (and work that still needed to be done) to accomplish its goal to end forced and child marriage in the United States, Adrienne was eager to support its continued success and growth. She is honored to serve on Unchained At Last’s Board of Directors.

Adrienne received her Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International Commerce and French from Texas A&M University.
